2006, waktu itu masih pake no.18 di punggungnya. Dan..sekarang udah pake no.10 yang kalo di sepakbola dianggap nomor 'keramat', nomor yang paling prestisius, dan ga sembarangan diberikan ke sembarang pemain. nomor 10 itu identik dengan pemain yang mampu mengubah hasil pertandingan , biasanya buat attacking midfielder, ataupun playmaker. cocok banget lah ama cesc!buktinya, kemenangan spanyol vs belanda di Worldcup 2010 kemarin karena umpan si cesc.awesome^.^.
ga heran, sekarang cesc jd bahan perbincangan di bursa transfer. spekulasi cesc pindah ke barca belum juga usai . Mungkin, ini pilihan yang sulit, di satu sisi, arsenal adalah klub yang telah membesarkan nama cesc, dan kehebatannya sampai saat ini karena ga lepas dari peran opa Wenger. di sisi lain, Barca adalah klub yang "menggodok"nya mejadi pemain belia berbakat. dari sanalah dia bermain sepakbola. dan, satu alasan lain, pengen pulang kampung!dan kumpul ama temen" akademinya dulu seperti, messi, pique. hmm.. apapun klub nya, im with u lah..;p barca ataupun arsenal, (but i hope u r still in arsenal!!)

ok, back to cesc! saking ngeFansnya ama cesc, banyak banget yg pengen dicari tau..ckcckckck. ternyata, kaki kanan maupun kiri cesc semuanya ampuh!walaupun sebenarnya cesc ini kidal.(sama donk ^.^/) nulis aja pake tangan kiri,.. ok, and this is it,sedikit-banyak yang aku tau ttg cesc..cek it dot.
* lebih suka dipanggil CESC daripada francesc. kalo fabregas itu adalah nama papanya.yaitu Francesc Fabregas Sr. sedangkan mamanya Nuria Soler. so, namanya = Francesc Fabregas Soler.

Arsenal’s journey ends at the Nou Camp again as Barcelona progress
Barcelona booked their place in the Champions League quarter-finals last night at the expense of Arsenal with a 4-3 aggregate win. A
double from Lionel Messi together with a goal from Xavi secured a 3-1 win on the night. However the scoreline did not reflect the game as this was a true masterclass from the home side and it was men against boys. The game was also not without controversy as Arsenal striker Robin van Persie received a very harsh second booking for kicking the ball away after he was flagged offside with the score at 1-1. Despite this, Arsenal can have no excuses as they were simply outplayed by a better side.
Going into the game, Barcelona were overwhelming favourites even though they trailed 2-1 from the first leg but prior to the game Arsenal received a major boost as Robin van Persie was declared fit to play. There was a little more reason for optimism for the Arsenal fans among the 95,000 plus in attendance at the Nou Camp. There was also the return of influential skipper Cesc Fabregas, playing in a professional game at the Nou Camp for the first time against his former club.
Despite the new belief Arsenal had, from early on you could see which way the game was going to go as Barca dominated. Arsenal could not get anything going as Barca had all the possession and created all the chances. Time and time again Barca would be able break through Arsenal’s defence regardless of how many yellow shirts surrounded the Barca players. Last ditch tackling from centre-backs Laurent Koscielny and Johan Djourou managed to keep Arsenal ahead in the tie. After 20 minutes there was a minor setback for Arsenal as goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny injured his finger saving a shot and as a result was replaced by Manuel Almunia who, like much of the Arsenal team, had a torrid time against Messi last year. It was that man again who made the breakthrough.
For the 45 minutes that had elapsed, Arsenal barely had a touch of the ball and Barcelona’s pressing game was allowing Arsenal no time on the ball. Their idea of regaining possession before their opponents can make three passes was in full flow. Arsenal also received a number of bookings with van Persie, Sagna, Clichy and Koscielny going into referee Massimo Bussaca’s book. Arsenal substitute Almunia was also called upon on a number of occasions to keep his side in front. It was of the utmost importance that Arsenal got to the break level but unfortunately that didn’t happen. A rare mistake from Cesc Fabregas, who tried a backheel just outside the penalty area lost the ball and Andreas Iniesta played in Messi who in turn clipped the ball over the on-rushing Manuel Almunia and then hammered the ball into an empty net to give Barca the lead in the tie on the stroke of half time. Arsenal players left the field with their heads down needing a massive improvement in the second half to get back in the game.
When the second half began there was an improvement as they began to see some of the ball and were now moving into Barcelona’s half of the pitch. Judging from the first half, an Arsenal equaliser seemed highly unlikely but it came after 53 minutes. Practically Arsenal’s only attack produced a corner in which Samir Nasri’s cross was headed into his own net by Sergio Busquets. Arsenal now lead the tie 3-2 on aggregate, cancelling out David Villa’s away goal from the first leg, but their joy was short-lived. On 55 minutes Robin van Persie was shown a second yellow for kicking the ball away after being called offside. This decision infuriated Arsenal and van Persie protested his innocence that he couldn’t hear the whistle amid the crowd of 95,000. Van Persie branded the referee as a “joke” after the game also claiming that he was favouring the home side throughout the game. Nonetheless Arsenal were down to ten men and holding on to their lead now seemed an impossible task. An inspired Manuel Almunia pulled of a number of great saves to keep Arsenal ahead but eventually Barca’s dominance resulted in their second goal.
Iniesta picked up the ball 40 yards from goal and with no Arsenal players trying to stop him he was invited to run at the Arsenal goal. He dribbled by Arsenal players as if they weren’t there. He then played the ball to David Villa and his sublime lay-off to Xavi allowed him to put the home side back in front on the night and level 3-3 on aggregate. After the goal the Barca players were eager to restart the game and kill off Arsenal as they knew just one Arsenal goal would put them back in front. They also wanted to take advantage of their numerical advantage and also avoid extra time.
Barely two minutes later Barcelona went ahead in the tie as Pedro was brought down in the box by Koscielny and Barcelona were awarded a penalty in which Lionel Messi calmly put in the bottom corner to put his side 3-1 on the night but more crucially 4-3 up on aggregate. However there was still a small glimmer of hope for Arsenal as they knew that they still only needed one goal to put themselves back in front on the away goals rule. On 88 minutes that elusive goal nearly came as Jack Wilshere played the ball into substitute Nick Bendtner and in front of goal his poor touch let him down and Arsenal missed their chance to steal an aggregate victory.
In truth there is no debate who the better side was on the night. Barcelona dominated the game in every department, they passed the ball better they pressed the ball better they did every better than their opponents Arsenal. Although Arsenal were not aided by the referee. It was a bitterly disappointing night for the Gunners as despite bringing a lead to the Nou Camp they never looked like holding onto it. They also failed to register a single attempt on goal, on or off target. Another frightening statistic was that Arsenal only managed two touches of the ball in the Barcelona penalty area. Barcelona also made three times as many passes as Arsenal over the 90 minutes. Even 11 v 11 Barca completely dominated the game and in my opinion they would have won regardless of the sending off.
